If you have a solar quotation listing a Shading Factor value from 0 to 1 for your array, just subtract this value from 1 then multiply by 100 to convert to a percentage amount of shading.

Advanced Settings

PVGIS defaults to a loss of 14%, but modern inverters today have higher efficiences therefore lower losses. Feel free to lower this value as required.
Select PVGIS' latest 2025 option if your panels are new (with higher efficiency and temperature coefficients) or the original option otherwise.
